Breanne Moorland is having the worst day of her life. First, she’s left standing at the altar on her wedding day. Hoping to escape the talk that will surely follow, she escapes to her honeymoon destination only to surprise a strange man in her honeymoon suite. Oh, yeah, can’t forget to mention that he’s completely naked and seriously sexy. On top of all that, she stumbles upon a dead body in the wine cellar. Thankfully, sexy naked guy is a cop, but not so good is the fact that the snowstorm that followed her from the airport to the lodge now has them snowed in with the killer. Dealing with all this and the extra creepy staff lurking around every corner has Breanne jumping at shadows. Good thing sexy naked guy is there to distract her.

Cooper Scott is a burnt out vice cop who didn’t want this damn vacation in the first place, but he sure as hell isn’t marching out into a snowstorm because someone overbooked the lodge. He’s more than willing to let the cute jilted bride distract him from his worries. Then there’s that messy issue with the dead body, clues popping up everywhere and suspects looking guiltier as the snowstorm worsens. What’s a cop to do?

A who-dun-it with humor! Get A Clue is a hilarious take on the board game “Clue;” complete with the spooky butler, ditsy cook, sexy maid and scary handyman. This was such a fun story to read. Ms. Shalvis had me guessing right to the very end. Her red hearing was very well done and I totally didn’t see the ending coming. The sexual tension between the hero and heroine was hot enough to the melt the Sierra snow storm that resulted in prolonging this mystery. When catastrophe after catastrophe threaten to derail the budding romance, Ms. Shalvis pumped up the sexual tension and slammed our couple back into bed together. Get A Clue is one story you are guaranteed to fall in love with!
